Salyut- 7

Russian Resurrection Film Festival

26 October 2017 - 19 November 2017

In 1985 Salyut-7, an unmanned Soviet space station, was orbiting Earth before suddenly holting all communication with Ground Control.

The demise of the station would damage Soviet national pride but more importantly lead to a tragic loss of life. Two cosmonauts are sent to find the cause of the breakdown and prevent a major disaster. Nobody has ever docked to an uncontrolled object in space – a first for mankind and space navigation. Salyut-7 is a gripping Cold-War true story. An exhilarating ride into space.
