For Film's Sake

10 April 2018 - 15 April 2018

Focusing on experience, For Film’s Sake (FFS) – formerly the WOW Film Festival – activates content in new and unexpected ways, challenging audiences to actively engage in the problem of a lack of thriving diversity in the film industry.

For Film’s Sake (FFS) Festival is Australia’s flagship and only AACTA accredited film festival programming exclusively works by female and female identifying film creators.

Initially staged as WOW Film Festival until 2017, FFS was creatively and strategically repositioned to challenge a lack of diversity within the global screen sector through lateral and innovative cultural exhibition events.
