Aelita- Russian Resurrection Closing Night Event
The Closing Night of the Russian Resurrection Film Festival is bringing something special this year, with a classic sci-fi silent movie in concert version.
The 1924 Soviet space epic Aelita will be accompanied by freshly composed live music performed by the Volatinsky Quartet.
Devised by Greg Dolgopolov, Nina Danko and original music by Ludmila Nikolsky, Anatoli Torjinsky, Eddie Bronson and Stephen Lalor, this is the perfect way to mark the 100th year anniversary of the October Revolution.
Aelita is one of the greatest sci-fi films of world cinema.
